We also run Xledger ourselves for our outsourced accounting clients, sowhen something needs configuring a certain way or a client hits an edge case,we've usually seen it before.
Typically 3 to 6 months. It depends on how many entities you're consolidating, how many users need training, and what your current setup looks like. We scope it upfront, so you know what's happening and when.
There are two parts: the Xledger licence and implementation.
The licence is based on the size and complexity of your business. Implementation fees depend on how much support you need — importing historical data, building integrations, and consolidating multiple trading companies all affect the fee. You'll get a fixed quote after a scoping call.
For the first six weeks, your implementation consultant stays close while you're using the system in live conditions for the first time. After that, you move to a standard support model where you can raise a ticket if something isn't working or request additional consulting if you need to reconfigure or add functionality.

You won't lose anything. Opening balances, supplier and customer ledgers, and historic transactions can all be transferred over. In a standard implementation your team handles the imports, with training and support from us throughout. If you'd rather we handle it, that's available as an additional service.
No. Adding a new site or company takes a few clicks and it automatically inherits your group settings. Other software like Xero caps you at 100 cost centres. Xledger doesn't cap you at all.
